Weisse Frauen

From many Germanic Nations comes the legends of The Weisse Frauen. Going back to the Medieval Ages, they are female spirits known for dressing (and being seen in all White). Said to be very beautiful to look at, they often are seen near lakes or inside castles. They are said to be tasked with guarding treasure. They try and scare off thefts by their ghostly appearance. Weisse Frauen were a common plot theme in many Germanic fables and stories.
