From Norse (Viking) Mythos – ‘’Vioopnir’’ was said to be a Bird that lived in The ‘’World Tree’’ (seen as a concept of Norse Creationism). His role was to Guard the Gates to The ‘’Otherworld’’ or Hel, where Souls of non-Warriors went. Vioopnir would ‘’rend and shred’’ Spirits foolish enough to attempt escape.
