Vimanas

Written about thousands of years ago, Ancient India has many tales and fables of men who were Masters of The Air , Centuries before actual flight was achieved by Man. These Ships were called Vimanas. Said to be able to fly at great speeds and at great height - it was said that The Gods came down from Heaven and gave Vimana's to the Ruling Class of India . The Gods  also showed Royalty how to construct their own Vinmana's. Depictions of these Crafts show box-like Objects (normally with room for many Occupants)  being propelled by magical Horses or Geese . In some representations, Vimana are shown without their magical beasts (often with fire and wind coming from below or to the rear). Many debate this, linking both the Royal Carrying Platforms used by Hindu Royalty and the magical animals akin to Persia's Flying Carpet Mythos. Still, Hindu Mythos are full of great Air Battles involving hundreds of Vimana's using devices that could shoot the beams of The Sun and burn down an enemy (Laser Beams? ) Vimana's were also linked with huge devices capable of generating incredible power like The Sun, which gave The Vimana it's power . (Anti-gravity Reactors ) It was further said that this given power was also the undoing of The Hindi Power. The Nation (once powerful enough to stop Alexander The Great at The Hindu Kush, and repeal MANY invaders for Centuries) would fall prey to it's misuse of The God's Power. Stories of Wars involving possible purposed ''Nuclear Weapons'' may have destroyed all traces of this God - like gift .
