In many Hindu Sects, The ‘’Varja’’ is a (now) largely symbolic ‘’Magical Weapon’’ – used by The Gods to protect Mankind. These ‘’blades’’ consisted of a 3 to 4-pronged (hook) configuration – sometimes set on a circular shape (ball) or cup. The Vajra was held in the hand as such. Because The Creator Gods fashioned the weapon, it was seen as the most ‘’powerful of weapons’’ in The Universe. Versions were made for various Rulers, who used them very much the same way as a Scepter would be used as a symbol of ‘’Divine’’ placement.
