Vantoase

From Romania, The Vantoase were Female Spirits who could control The Weather. They could summon (or stop), all manner of storm. They normally are said to live near Lakes or in deep Forests. According to some versions of their Myth, The Vantoase hate Children. Some other versions have The Vantoase as Servants of God who calm storms and bad weather so as not to put undue hardships on Regional Farmers. They are often seen as Humans, but semi-transparent and unable to be touched. They are easily distracted though, and are said to wear Blinders (to keep them focused). They require no gifts or tributes and most often avoid grown Men and Women. They do like animals, however.
