Another form of Romanian Female Spirit, The Valva were benevolent. They were Forest Dwellers who were also cunning Shape-Shifters. They preferred to take the forms of Black Cats and even simple shadows . They were known to protect the Poor and Men who worked in Mines. Making a friend of a Valva could mean that they may reveal the location of buried treasure (of which they know where all is buried within their Forest. Other Valva protect the ruins of Ancient Castles and Fortifications. If a Valva warns you not to go to a certain place, one had best listen. This is a future forecast that you will die at that location.
