Urania

The Ancient Greek personification of ‘’The Heavens’’ – ‘’Urania’’ was a Muse of Astronomy. Her beauty was matched only by that of The Heavens. Urania carried a Staff, by which She could point to The Sky and ‘’summon forth’’ and Planet or Star. A Daughter of Zeus, Urania was once thought to be the origin of the Planetary identifier for ‘’Uranus’’ (as opposed to The Male God).
