Of Ancient Welsh Origins – The ‘’Tylwyth Teg’’ was a type of Fairy Being who interact (often to the bane of) with Humankind. Said to be the origins of the aforementioned ‘’Fairy Rings’’ and other Fairy related phenomenon, The Tylwyth Teg also were know ‘’abductors’’ of Human Children. They prefer ‘’true’’ blonde haired and ''blue eyed'' young Ones (believing them to being of ‘’Fairy Descent’’). Often in literature, The Teg are used to illustrate’’ ill gotten gain’’ – as they often offer riches and stations in Life to Human Parents in exchange for their ‘’surrendering’’ their Children (who are raised as Fairies).
