Trauco

The Trauco were said to be a Race of Drawf-like beings that lived in the deep jungle of Chile. They were said to be irresistible to human women, despite their ugly visage. Their very gaze was said to kill a human male. The Trauco carried large stone axes, which according to legend they used to cut down trees in a single blow. This was done to show their virility to females, rather than chopping wood. A distinguishing feature along with their size, was that The Trauco had no feet! It is unclear as to just why they do not. The Trauco were seen as Nature protectors, as were many South American Spirit Creatures. They were tasked with making sure humankind did not abuse or misuse forests or animals.
