Dating at least to the 5th Century AD in written form (although MUCH older), The Armenian (Pagan)Deity known as ''Tork Angegh'', was seen as the personification of both ''Courage and Strength''. He was a Giant of ''great proportions''. He defended The Country from all Enemies, carving mountains into ''boulders'' and throwing them at invaders. Tork was also said to be quite sad. He was NOT a very ''attractive'' Being and was so ugly that no mortal woman could love Him. A Goddess one day told Him to seek out a virgin girl from The North of The Country, who was blind. Doing so, The Girl fell in love with Tork and They remained happy for the rest of Their lives. In truth, Tork Angegh and His Legend was used to rally Armenian's in time of War, to be brave and fight against all Enemies.
