''Tore''

The Mbuti of The Congo (Central Africa), are better known to The Western ''World'' as ''Pygmies''. A genetically evolved Human, normally no taller than 3 to 4 feet, They are quite ancient and have a very complex Religion and Mythology. One of their primary Gods, is the Deity known as ''Tore''. He is responsible for not only Thunder, but is Protector of all Jungles and the animals that live therein. Always ''present'' within any Rainbow (light infraction) which appears, He originally decreed that The Mbuti were immortal. But one day, as Legend goes – The First Mbuti stole fire from Tore. This angered The God who chased the thieves. While He was gone, His Mother died. So angered Tore cursed The Mbuti to also suffer the ''pain of death''. Long reconciled with His People, Tore always makes sure that animal life never goes extinct with The Jungles, so The Mbuti have plenty to consume.
