Tiyanak

The Philipine Islands have a particularly ''nasty'' Supernatural Entity known as The ''Tiyanak''. These are Evil Spirits who have no form (and are said to never have been Human). They hunt and kill their victims, by assuming the form of a ''small Human Baby'', often ''heard'' crying along the side of a road, near a jungle or water source. When a hapless goes to investigate and to help, the ''innocent looking Baby'' – produces fangs and attacks. The Tiyanak drains all blood from their ''meal'' and leaves it's corpse – a ''hollow husk'. Some of the most earliest versions of The Mythos date to Spanish Colonization of The Islands in the 16th Century AD.
