 From Ancient Inuit (Canadian Arctic) Native Tribes, is the story of The Tinmiukpak. Said to be a Giant Bird it was also called The Thunderbird.  Said to have a wingspan larger than the sky (and could blot out the Sun), every flap of it's wings could produce thunder. It was said to pick up whole Whales and handfuls of Moose to eat. It would also eat Humans (if it so chose).
