Hence, ''Tiberinus'' was seen as Patron of The Tiber, as well as the 3,000-odd estuaries and riverways leading to and from it. Any early ''Kingdom Period'' Deity'', He was given the Month of May as His Feast Day. Great pomp and ceremony was placed into this affair. Hundreds would make their way to a section of The Tiber and throw offerings of flowers and gain into the river, as a means of honoring Him.
