According to The Ancient Greeks, ''Theia'' was a Titan who gave ''birth'' to both The Sky and Earth (and their associated Gods and Goddesses). Later associated with ''Sight'' (in Humans), She was Personified by the Metals of Gold and Silver. She was often venerated during Funeral Rituals as a means of ensuring ''safe passage'' of a departed Soul – into The Afterlife.
