An unusual and seldom told story, The Yacanto Photograph was taken by Argentinian Air Force Officer, Captain Hugo Niotti on July 3, 1960. The photo was taken on black & White film. While driving on the outskirts of Cordoba, Yacanto, Argentina - Niotti pulled over to the side of the road due to inclimate weather conditions. When the rain stopped, Niotti saw a strange Object suddenly descend from the clouds. It hovered between 100-150 feet off the ground. The object was "Cone-shaped" and was described as being a "Dark Grey metallic color". The Object was smooth and without any structures. It made no noise and there were no exterior light. Capt. Niotti quickly retrieved his personal camera and exited his vehicle. Snapping a picture of the Object, it then quickly moved back up into the cloud cover. The whole Encounter took roughly 40 seconds. Reporting back to Argentinian Authorities, the photo was heavily scrutinized. It was proven genuine. So much so, that The Government told Niotti NOT to mention or discuss the encounter -ever. They confiscated the photo. No mention of the incident or photo was ever brought to light until 1977. The photo "accidentally" came to light by an Investigative Journalist - from an unknown Government "Source".
