The Willow Grove Sighting

Reported on May 21, 1996 in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania William Powell was an experienced Pilot. He had 18,000 flight hours (not only privately, but with The Royal Air Force of Great Britain!). That makes him a bit of an Expert on aircraft and THINGS that are seen in the air. His expertise was severely tested at 3:15 P.M. On the date in question. Powell was enroute to Washington D.C. From Pennsylvania to attend a Writers Conference. Flying at roughly 4,500 feet in his private airplane, he noticed a Squadron of US Navy Jets screech past him. Curious, he followed (albeit much more slowly). Soon, he saw what appeared to be a Disc shaped Object - not too far ahead of his position (and the Naval Interceptors). The Object gave off a white glow from a dome-like top and a bright red glowing under carriage . The Object was not even remotely concerned about either Powell OR the Navy Jets. Within minutes, the Object speed up and away (into Space). Upon landing in Washington, Powell reported the incident. The FAA (and Military) denied ANY such Naval intercept and Air Control likewise confirmed NO ACTIVITY within Powell's airspace.
