From Ancient China, The White Monkey features heavily into fable and culture. Said to be a Race of very powerful half-Ape, half-human Beings, they were covered with white fur. Although ape by general appearance, they had a human face. They lived in the mountains of Northern China and for the most part, avoid human contact - except at mating time. The White Monkey will steal human women to mate with them. The White Monkey myth features prominently into Chinese fable and is often portrayed as a Trickster.
