The White Lady of Hohenzollern

This Ghost legend centers around Royal Family of Hohenzollern (Germany) and seems to appear still in many of their surviving Castles and Residences. Dating back to 1451, it is said that this Spirit was the Princess Bertha Von Rosenberg. Tormented and mistreated by her husband (The Baron Steyermark), he eventually starved her to death. Now, in the Afterlife, the Princess reappears (and has since her death) to torment ANY Family members. Said to wear an all white dress/cloak she haunts the Castles and Homes letting out wail after mournful wail. It is also said that when the last of The Hohenzollern bloodline dies out - The Princess will find peace.
