Spectral Lights are a common feature of many Ghost sightings and legends reported all over The World. In Cornwall, England The Vingoe Light is still reported from time to time. The name is related to The Vingoe Family (a Minor Nobility Clan in the Region). Established in the 13th Century, The Vingoes made their fortunes as Wine and Spirit Merchants. As business people, they no doubt carried on as they saw fit (regarding profits) and it is said that they cheated many out of their fortunes. Others tell of higher than normal Wine costs sold. Whatever (or Whoever) The Vingoes angered - whenever one of them passes on a Whitish-Pale flickering light is always seen on their Estates and Lands. The Dancing Light is roughly 5-feet tall and will respond to sounds and vibrations. The Light always lingers for several days after a death then summarily vanishes until the next passing . Skeptics dismiss the Light as a natural phenomena associated with Methane (Swamp Gas). Or it could be just what the legend states.....................
