Considered by many to be one of the earliest (and clearest) of Modern UFO photos, the picture of a purported Alien Spacecraft was taken on January 16, 1958. A Crewman on board the Merchant Ship Almirante Saldanha , saw an unusual object near The Island of Trindade (Brazil). The craft was described as a large saucer-shaped object. The Craft floated high in the air for many minutes prior to it turning and flaying away (at slow speed). One of the Passengers on the ship was a Brazilian Air Force Officer (who also witnessed the craft). The Officer made sure the picture was developed back at Port 9of which he gave it to his Government). The Trindade Photo , quickly became Worldwide news. It was one of the most published UFO photos in history (at one point). The photo was scrutinized using photographic examination equipment (depending on which Era the investigation was conducted there have been MANY).
