According to American Mormonism, The ''Three Nephites'' were reputedly selected from Jesus Christ's original 12 Apostles, AFTER His Ascension in Heaven. As is believed, Christ ''re-appeared'' on The North American Continent, thousands of years ago, and carried on His Public Ministry their (even helping to establish a Hebronic Culture and Society. In His ''New Form'', Christ selected Three of His Own to ''remain on Earth as Immortals''. Even after His ''re-ascension'', these ''Holy Men'' would continue to live and spread The Mormon Faith. They will ''remain on Earth'' until Christ ''Returns''.
