The Third Eye

An Eastern Spiritual Belief, being thousands of years old – ''The Third Eye'' is a concept related to both Hinduism and several Chinese Belief Systems. It is claimed, that certain People who have achieved the required ''level'' of ''spiritual perfection'', can ''see'' both The Past and The Future. This ''vision'' is linked to a purposed (but unseen) ''Eye'' (located in the center of the forehead). This ''Eye'' was the key to the ''Doorway of The Mind'', by which ''great secrets'' could be unlocked thru various Meditations. In Eastern Art portrayal, various Deities were shown with a ''Third Eye'' carved into the head (to establish their level of spiritual perfection and to serve as a focal point to achieve the ability in Humans). In Western ideology, ''The Third Eye'' is associated with various types of Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP).
