A 1958 Black and White Universal Pictures release, ''The Thing That Couldn't Die'' isn't as bad as the Title would make one think. Another ''mass production'' Horror Film of the late 1950s – the premise deals with a lost treasure supposedly guarded by the remains of a 400 year old Warlock (who was beheaded, with His head and body separated as part of His punishment). Finding the treasure (and the remains of The Warlock's Head), ''It'' comes back to life and seeks to be reunited with His Body in order to exact His revenge of The World.
Eventually (as one expects), The Head and Body are brought back together – with the evil Warlock (somewhat) no worse for wear after 4 centuries. His ''possessed'' Henchman comes to to realize the horror He has helped unleash on The World and gets a Cross. The Warlock is pushed back inside His coffin and the religious symbol thrown in after. The now complete body begins to decompose rapidly (with passable special effects). The World is safe. It could have been better, and just as worse for a Horror Film, but ''The Thing That Couldn't Die'' is still worth a look.
