The ‘’Teazer’’ Light, is a long running Legend around Nova Scotia (Canada), which many have claimed to experience. The Legend started around 1813 and The War of 1812 (between Great Britain and The United States). The ‘’Young Tezaer’’ was a US Schooner with a Crew of over 30. She had a rather successful career attacking British Warships, using the Nova Scotia Coastline and Fog to strike fast. But in 1813, ‘’Teazer’’ lost t’s luck – it seems. Prepared for the fast attacks common in the area, a British Warship pounded The Fog, and consequently badly damaged ‘’Teazer’’. The British Captain was prepared to take prisoners, with no further loss of life. The surviving Officer on The ‘’Teazer’’, a ‘’Lieutenant Johnson’’, in typical American defiance – loudly declaimed the offer. Rather than surrender, He and His Crew set fire to Their gunpowder. The ‘’Teazer’’ exploded in spectacular fashion, sinking with a loss of all aboard. Since the event, many long The Nova Scotia Coast have reported ‘’seeing’’ what appears to be a ‘’floating orange light’’ (similar to flame), often seen when the Fog is at it’s thickest. Many have even said They can ‘’make out’’ the ‘’Lines of a 19th Century Vessel’’. Could this be The ‘’Teazer’’ still refusing to surrender?
