The Tasmanian ''Fireball''

This Case made World Headlines back in 2017. Perhaps more so due to the fact that an actual piece of video evidence was produced. The image (still) and resulting video (at 10 seconds), captured a very ''strange'' skyborne phenomenon. Initially, the video had no ''official explanation'' by Australian Authorities. Later, it was said to be ''Space Junk'' burning up (slowly) upon re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. Still later, and again ''officially'' – the Object was said to be nothing more that the contrails of a Passenger Plane, with the dispelled chemicals from it's engines reacting with the position of a setting Sun (and other somewhat dubious explanations). Close-up views of even the famous still are worth noting. First, the Object ''seems'' to be making a ''controlled'' re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. Closer inspection shows a definitive solid and angular shaped Object. Recorded over Sorell, Tasmania, on Tuesday at 630PM on February of 2017 – the so called eventual explanation and further investigation – as always, quickly faded away.
