As we have seen, The Japanese have become Masters of sorts in the vein of Horror and very disturbing Urban Legends. One, is that of the tale of The Fatal Fare . It involves a Cabbie (Taxi Driver), who picks up a normal, but somehow disturbed looking Woman. Getting inside his Cab, the Fare begins to give the Drivers a series of very difficult directions to her destination . These involves turn after turn, often through difficult to maneuver Streets. Through Town after Town, and eventually to the Country, no doubt the Cabbie see s a large payment for this rather long trip. However, after so much driving, the Cabbie gets annoyed as asks his Fare, how much longer it will be. The Woman responds with You Shall Soon See . What an odd answer thinks our Cabbie, who turns around to look at his Fare.

As he does, she suddenly vanishes. As he turns back around, he hardly has any time to stop his Cab from crashing off a Cliff! The origin of this story is sometimes said to be that The Fare was a distraught Woman, who was trying to get to The Hospital to see her dying Daughter . That Cabbie she used, hot stuck in traffic and the Woman never made it in time to say goodbye to her. So distraught, she threw herself off a Cliff. Now she spends Eternity visiting justice upon Cab Drivers.
