The Sword of Wladislaus Dragwlya, also known as Vlad III (aka ''Dracula''), has always been a hotly debated subject. Many Historians say his "primary" weapon has been lost to time. Others claim to "own" it in private collections. Vlad III probably owned and used many swords and weapons. A fierce and ruthless fighter, The 14th/15th Century Prince of Wallachia was member of The Order of The Dragon (whose mission was tasked to defend The Church and Wallachia from all enemies of Christ). This ultimately led to Wallachia's constant state of warfare against The Ottoman Turks. Of the few paintings of Vlad III in existence, several show him with a Kilji Sword. This half Saber - half Sword, the  design of The Turks would have been a logical choice for battle sword. An excellent blade in mid to late Middle Ages Combat, it had a 33 inch blade and was single-edged.
