The Stone Spheres of Costa Rica

 No one is quite sure just "who" made the Great Stone Spheres of more importantly -why. Located in the Southern Region of Costa Rica, South America, The Spheres are concentrated near the Towns of Palmar Norte and Palmar Sur. At one time, hundreds existed. First seen by Europeans in the 1930s, many were demolished when false tales of "Golden Cores" caused their destruction. In the 1950s a "cache" of 45 were discovered and protected. The Spheres are made of Geanodiorite (a form of Granite). They range in size from 15 centimeters to 8-feet in diameter. One of the largest is 16-tons. The amazing thing is the exact shaping of the Spheres. They are perfectly rounded to a .02% flaw. So precise, that only a laser guided computer could today, duplicate them. The Pre-ColumbIan Culture (at their age of 1,000 years ago), incapable of such feats. How were they constructed and why. Some claim they are funerary monument, but if so to whom It is said that "God's from The Sea" cane to The Region, Eons ago had showed Craftsmen "how" to "do it". Who were these mysterious "Sea Gods" ?
