The Stargate Project is rumored to have been a Ultra Top Secret Project of The United States Army, which took selected Military Personnel who exhibited the ability to mentally see proposed Enemy Targets and Personnel. Known as Remote Viewing , the theory (which falls into the category of ESP or Extra Sensory Perception), was that hostile asset could then be targeted by conventional Military strike deployments. As an extension, some Soldiers were trained to initiate heart attacks or other fatal health ailments as well. Said to be established at Ft. Meade, Maryland in 1978, The Stargate Project was said to have been a Cold War asset aimed at The Soviet Union. They too were rumored to have a similar Project in use against American assets. The initial participants included 20 Military Servicemen, specially selected for their demonstrated psychic abilities . This information was culled through testing. The CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) and DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) both had a vested interest in The Stargate Project. It is speculated Millions of USD were spent on the endeavor. Due to The Freedom of Information Act, much of The Stargate Project was declassified in January of 2017. The actual Project was said to have been ended in 1995. No evidence of successful ''uses'' have been made known (due to heavily redacted documents) but it is thought that several Missions were, including the discovery of Osama Bin Laden. It was also speculated that had the Unit been Active before The September 11th Terrorist Attacks against New York City, it would not have occurred. A common issue with The Participants was, that prolonged use of Remote Viewing caused severe mental issues, including potential insanity.
