The Snake River Encounter

Just 6-weeks after the infamous Roswell Crash (1947), Owners of a Idaho Trout Farm experienced an unusual encounter with something which could not possibly be ''terrestrial''. It was August 13th and Mr. AC Urie and Sons were working their Farm, which waters emptied into The Snake River. It was clear day with a blue sky. Very little cloud cover was seen. Coming up the River at roughly several hundred feet, was what The Group described as a ''large glowing Disc'' moving ''very fast''. The Men determined that the Craft was traveling at ''about 100-mph''. In addition, a ''smaller, bullet shaped Object'', acting as a ''Chase Plane'' would, was close by The Disc's side. The Men noted that The smaller Craft ''emitted smoke'' from it's rear.

The Objects continued along their course, overflying The Men. They stated that they ''felt heat passing over them'' as the Crafts flew overheat. They duly reported their encounter to local newspapers, who not only placed the story on the front page, but included a drawing as well. However, The Men were not interviewed by any Government source. Years later, Dr. J. Allen Hynek (of ''Blue Book'' fame), stated that based on His review of The Case, ''it was plausible that The Men encountered and unknown anomaly''.
