The ''Sigil of Lucifer'' is purported to be the Black Magic and Satanist symbol associated with The Prince of Darkness Himself, Satan. While as a Sigil (or symbol which is placed into various Conjuring Circles and Altars for summoning in Black Magic or Satanic Ritual), some debate exists as to if such a Sigil was real or simply manufactured. The Sigil was first ''mentioned'' in the 18th Century AD Grimoire known as The ''Grimorium Verum''. Some cite it went back to the 14th Century AD. A series of Lines connect in such a way as to ''create'' a portion of a Pentagram, as well as a pair of Horns (again referencing The Devil). This is why some state the symbol was not created by Lucifer himself, but by enterprising Humans. Lucifer was not originally portrayed as the traditional ''Devil'' until the 15th Century AD (again in Art). The Sigil is still used in Black Masses and Rituals today.
