The Sea Woman

 Another Inuit Tribe story, The Sea Woman is a spirit that protects Seals and Walrus from harm. If she sees danger, she will call up or blow a severe storm causing all Hunting boats to have to turn back. Although Human in appearance, The Sea Woman had hands and feet (but no toes or fingers). It is said that if a Shaman dives into the water and combs Sea Woman's hair, she will calm down. Hunters will then be able to resume their quest for food.
