Although ''documented'' in June of 2008 by a Group of Turkish Residents along the East Coast of Turkey, it took until 2013 for the ''story'' to become known Internationally. Skeptics naturally rally against the actual Film taken, saying it is obviously faked. But the level of sophistication to do so would allude even the best of Hoaxers. The Group of Friends were admiring the dark quiet skies and bright Moon. As They looked skyward, One of them ''saw'' a strange ''blinking red light'' off in the distance over The Sea of Marmara. Thinking it some sort of aircraft, none in the Group were overly alarmed. But when One of them with a digital camera/recorder zoomed in on the ''light'', He beheld a strange sight. Indeed, the 'light'' was there – but ''attached'' to a very ''strange, bat-wing like Craft''. None of the Group had ever seen anything like it before. The Object was very clearly seen. It had a few lights glowing, but from a distance – it looked all the best for a ''standard'' aircraft. But closer observations with the camera showed a very different ''view''. The Craft was hovering, perhaps 1,500 feet above the water. It moved with a ''slow intent'', and emitted no noise whatsoever. The Group ''watched'' the amazing Craft for close to 15-Minutes before it slowly began to rise higher and higher into the atmosphere. As it rose, all forms of ''external lighting'' just ''winked'' out.
Later, when the digital film was leaked out Internationally, Experts enlarged the Film to observe greater details. It was later seen that the ''front'' of The Craft had a clear ''observation window''. From there is seen what appears to be several ''Alien Beings'' in sight. They almost appear to be ''piloting'' The Craft in question. The film and photographed were judged to be authentic with no clear cut method of how they could have been produced as a Hoax. The film became fodder for several American Radio Shows which specialize in UFO and Alien Evidence, with both ''Believers'' and ''Skeptics'' lining up for ''battle''. But by 2015, The ''Sea of Marmara'' UFO Film had faded from popular ''discussion''.
