The ''Sea Fury'' Incident

This Case occurred in the skies over Nowra, Australia on August 31, 1954. It is considered one of the best verified Cases of actual Radar confirmation of Alien Contact. On the night in question (7:10 PM), The Australian Air Force was conducting night training using a Sea Fury, Observation Aircraft. While the Pilot was training, he radioed his Control Tower, that a "bright, White Light", descend rapidly into his flight path from above his position. The Object slowed to his airspeed (300 mph), and "flew with him" some 200 feet off his wing. The Pilot asked his Tower if the Object was being tracked on Radar. The Tower confirmed both his location and that of the Object. This "escort' lasted several minutes before ANOTHER such Object joined the Group, taking the open position off of the Sea Fury's vacant wing.

Again the whole affair was being recorded by the Tower. Described as "glowing with a White light", when the two Objects took up their "positions", however - these appeared to be "Saucer shaped, with a White light on top of a Dome". Before an Intercept Flight could be launched, the two Objects broke their "Formation" and flew up into Space at an "incredible speed". UFOlogist Dr. Allen Hyneck investigated the Case. Although The Australian Military admitted to the "encounter", all telemetry was secreted. Even the Pilot would not "talk" of the matter (until he left The Service). Hyneck was able to turn up a collaborative eyewitness. Allegedly, a 15 year old boy (at the time), stated he saw The Sea Fury aircraft flying over a Field he was standing in, when it was receiving it's "out of this World" escort. To date, The Australian Military had released no new information on the encounter.
