According to most early Demonologies of The Middle Ages, most ‘’calamities of Earth’’ (disasters), were the ‘’children’’ of a group of Demons called The ‘’Scale of Six’’. These were Demons of especially cruel means, who delighted in tormenting Mankind. The ‘’Six’’ were derived from The Ancient Greek Mythology characters known as’’Telchine’’ (who were very similar to their ‘’Hellish Cousins’’ – if not the same Beings). The Six – known as ‘’Acteus, Megalesius, Ormenus, Lycus, Nicon and Mimon’’ – controlled Famines, Floods, Plagues, Earthquakes, Volcanic Eruptions and all other Ancient World ‘’issues’’. In ‘’Medieval Hell’’ Concepts, They were said to be popular Demons to effect Nature, and rarely possessed Human victims.
