Well, perhaps NOT a Wolf – but in the year 2006 – a decomposing carcass washed ashore on The Island of Sakhalin (Russia’s ‘’Pacific’’ Coast), that perplexed many. Found by a Patrol of Militia Soldiers, The Beast could not be positively identified as any ‘’known’’ Sea Creature. Perhaps a denizen of the greater deep (as these strange species are washing ashore with greater frequency, even today) – the remains are strange to say the least. Semi-furred, the 15-foot long monstrosity had a gapping, wolf-like mouth, with multiple rows of sharp teeth. The Creature was definitely NOT any kind of fish species, either. But after much ‘’thought’’, most Authorities determined the rotting remains to be a species of Beluga Whale (although many discount this as well). Due to the advance state of decomposition, The ‘’Sea Wolf’’ (as it was dubbed) was burned – but Russian Scientists did take samples. Their results were never published.
