The Sakatchewan Encounter

This UFO "contact" which involved Crop Circle "evidence", occurred on September 1, 1973 in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, Canada. A Grape Farmer was out in his fields around 11:00 AM on the day in question. While surveying his lots, he noticed a "glint of light" from the Sun. Thinking it the reflection off of some sort of aircraft, it thought nothing of it. However the "glint" became brighter and brighter and appeared to be approaching his fields. Within seconds, a silver "disc-shaped" Object appeared some 50-feet above his crops. The Craft slowly began to rotate, and he noted that the Grape vines belong the Craft began to bend and twist (as if by some unseen wind). The Farmer said he noted a strange "gray, mist" come from below the Object. Covering his field, it had no odor. The amazing sight played out for only several minutes, when the Object departed as quickly as it had arrived. Checking his crops, he found a series of perfectly patterned circles in the ground. He noted that the bones and stalks were not broken and his Grapes were likewise undamaged. Reporting the incident to local papers, photos were taken, but no "known" Canadian Government investigation was ever initiated.
