The Rogue River Sighting

Reported on May 24, 1949 - the Object was observed and reported by Scientists from a local Government Jet Laboratory (on a mini-vacation). Camping and fishing by the remote Rogue River Region of Oregon, the Group of men (around 5:00 P.M.) - saw something reflective off of the horizon. Looking through binoculars, they observed a Disk-shaped Object with a type of tail extending from the upper portion of the Disk. The Object had a series of rotating white lights around the perimeter. The Object also appeared dirty (or rather covered in dust or dirt of some kind). The group witnessed the Object as it flew Eastward (and eventually disappeared into some cloud cover. They reported the sighting to their Superiors at the Lab. Project: Blue Book was notified and investigated. They determined the sighting - UNKNOWN .
