Yet another example of The Government attempting to not only "deny" but "tell us" what we clearly "saw or experienced" - The Red Bluff Incident, happened on August 13, 1960. At around 3:30 AM, two California Highway Patrol Officers were stopped on the side of a State Route, outside of Corning, Northern California. With warning, the two Officers noted what appeared to be a "large Commercial Airliner", suddenly "dart out from a thick cloud cover". Thinking they were about to witness a crash, they radioed the Sighting into the local Sheriff as well as the nearby Air Base at Red Bluff.

It became apparent that the "Object" was not about to crash. The Officers saw the massive Craft slowly descended to about 200 feet above the ground. The Officers noted that the Object was eminating a 'Whitish Glow, with rotating Red Lights". The Craft began to make maneuvers that both Officers felt were inconsistent with any type of aircraft or helicopter on Earth. After several minutes, the Object moved towards the Officers cars. A "Red Light" was shined on their cars by the Object. This amazing sight continued for almost 2-hours before it simply ascended back into the cloud cover. The Officers drove to the local Sheriff's Office. Several Deputies said they had seen the "Lights" as well.the State Officers contacted Red Bluff Air Base. At first the "sighting" was confirmed, but later denied. Air Force Representatives said that the Officers had witnessed a Star whose light had been refracted in an unusual way due to atmospheric anomalies. Nothing more was made of the Sighting. But several members of Law Enforcement will tell you that what "they" experienced was NO Star!
