The Rake

 Said to have been in existence since the 12th Century, The first Rake sighting was by a 17th Century Ship Captain (just before he killed himself!). Just what caused The Rake to be created is unknown. Many assign it a demonic origin. The Rake is seen as a hairless, humanoid creature. It had large glowing eyes. It's name Rake , is from it's long and sharp claws (nails), and the fact that it rakes (cuts), up it's victims. Rakes are said to be silent (part of their attack approach). Just how one warrants a Rake is also unclear. Some also place Rakes with Poltergeist activity. It is also said that some have survived Rake encounters (only to go mad, later!).
