The ''Pop''

From Thai Culture, A ''Pop'' is a rather nasty Ghost/Spirit. It is normally manifested as a Female (often pretty). The Pop also has the habit of eating it's prey alive! There are several forms of Pop. The fist is that they ''eat'' only those who stumble upon their true identity (it seems Pops live a ''normal'' human life during the day). ''Finding out'' their identity means one can ''see'' their true appearance (a horrible wraith-like Creature). Other versions have The Pop as a ''dream eater'' devouring One's ''dreams'' as it's primary form of nourishment. This leave the victim weak and will eventually die. Only a Shaman can rid one of this form of Pop, A stylized ''spinning dance'' is performed which it is said, drives out The Pop.
