The Poltergeists of Thornton Road

An odd Tale which takes us to 1981 and Burmingham, England – deals with a strange Event which happened in the Summer of that year. Reports of ‘’someone’’ throwing rocks at parked car windows, houses and even larger stones, onto roofing tiles (breaking them as well). The entirety of Thornton Road seemed to be ‘’attacked’’ every night. No one was ever seen – despite whatever means was taken to ‘’catch’’ The Offender(s). Local Police were so perplexed that They set up a ‘’sting’’ using Night Vision equipment. For an entire, no one was seen. But the rocks were – seemingly ‘’coming out of the air’’. With no explanation, the Event lasted until summer ended. The ‘’rocks’’ simply stopped. But Thornton Street was no stranger to ‘’strange things’’ it seems. For many years, reports of hauntings and other ‘’spooky’’ incidents had been experienced. Some, cite that back in The Late Middle Ages, a fire swept thru Houses that used to occupy Thornton Road. Many people died (burned), with some thinking that They were simply ‘’buried under the rubble’’ and ‘’built over’’ by other buildings. Perhaps these Spirits are ‘’upset’’ with ‘’Life continuing’’ (for others), or the fact that They did not received a ‘’proper burial’’?
