The Pittsburg Sighting

A close encounter was had on August 25, 1952 in Pittsburg, Kansas (US). At 5:30 A.M. William Squyres was driving to early morning work. Driving past some woods (near the Highway), he saw a long Cigar-shaped and glowing Object hovering over the Forest (although partially obscured by trees). He stopped his car and simply stared in shock. Squyres estimated the Object to be about 75 feet long, 45 feet wide and around 25 feet high! The massive Craft appeared to be slightly rocking back and forth. It had a silvery glow to it. He could also see what appeared to be a bank of windows with Light coming from them. Looking closer, he saw what appeared to be Forms inside (walking back and forth). Very quickly after this observation , Squyres said the Object rose up and went into the sky with a woosh! . The report was similar to another report in the Region (several weeks prior). That report did NOT include occupants.
