Once touted as genuine proof of the existence of The Yeti or otherwise known as The Abominable Snowman , the artifacts consists of a skeletonized hand and preserved scalp which are reputedly the remains of an any Yeti. Kept with great reverence by a Buddhist Monastery in The Tibetan Himalayan Mountains, it was found in 1957 by American Businessman and Adventurer Tom Slick. According to Monks, one of their Flock went deep into The Mountains to meditate when he found a wounded and dying Yeti. He left the Cave. Many years later, this Monk returned to the same Cave and found the remains of a hand and fully intact scalp. He brought the pieces back to his Monastery where they were kept for safekeeping.

When Slick found out about the story (and others) he began his Abominable Snowman Quests, spending untold thousands of dollars in hopes of finding proof of the mythical creatures. When he approached The Monks with the artifacts, they naturally decline to sell them. Slick (or a Member of his entourage) stole them. Taking them to The University of London for testing, the artifacts were at fist deemed inconclusive for any related species on Earth. They were also supposedly linked to Human evolution (although these findings have long since vanished from Official records). In fact, in the 1960s other than in-depth photographs, the artifacts themselves have too disappeared.

In 2011, The University of Edinburgh, Scotland produced a single skeletonized finger which they claimed was a part of the original 1957 artifact find (although how it came to Scotland is unclear as well). DNA Testing was performed and Scientists claim that the bone samples were Human. A legend also developed out of the stolen hand and scalp as well. All involved (including Slick), met with death or misfortune as a result of the theft from The Temple. In 2010, a relative of Slick had professionally made a replica hand and scalp. He returned these to The Temple with a formal apology to The Monks. Hopefully, this will remove The Curse.
