From recent Investigations, The Paintville, Kentucky (US) Case happened on January 12, 2002. The Case was reported by Train Workers of a Coal Runner working on transporting a Freight Train loaded with Coal from Russell to Shelbiana, Kentucky on an Overnight haul. The time was 2:47 AM. According to Eyewitnesses, The Run was going as expected. That is until The Engines Collision Alarms sounded. The Crew were operating in an area nicknamed The Wild Kingdom . The Region was known for it's many and often quite large Wildlife which on occasion crossed onto the Train Tracks. In a Computer Age with regards to Transportation even Rail Trains have built in device to warn an Engineer of impending obstructions. In the most cases, slowing down and sounding the Air Horn is enough. This time, the Horn would be of little use. Eyewitnesses reported what appeared to be (3) Bright, White Balls of Light hovering roughly 10 to 12-feet above the Tracks. Whereas, the Line was traveling on a One Way Switch , no other Trains could be ahead. Lowering down to 30-miles per hour, Workers got a better look at the Lights . Cylindrical in shape, The Objects appeared more Silver than White. Suddenly, the lower of the (3) Objects was clipped by the Train as it moved under the strange light. Almost immediately, all electrical power (and on board Computers) shut down. The two other Lights suddenly vanished (although some Workers say they moved away at incredible speed ). The Light that was hit appeared to wobble away towards a nearby wooded field . The Freight Train was able to restore only partial power and limped into The Station at Paintville.

Upon arrival, 20 to 30 dark vehicles were parked around The Station. Railroad Corporate Officials were present and ordered all Worker off The Train and into a nearby Warehouse. Some of The Workers stated they saw men in Hazmat-type suits using what appeared to be Radiation detection Devices. All The Employees were questions by what was described as Government types, intent on telling the workers that they had in reality hit a Top Secret Government Experiment. All Workers additionally were searched and their Cellphones were confiscated. Naturally, all were told to never discuss the incident (even with Family). It should be noted that for several weeks prior, local Residents had been reporting strange lights in the Skies around Paintville.
