The Old Saybrook Encounter

Mary Starr was considered an educated Woman. She attained a Masters Degree front Yale University (no small feat for a Lady in The 1950s). Ms. Starr lived in the small Connecticut Town of Old Saybrook. Living in a new Housing development, she was the only Resident of the new Homes on the night of December 16, 1957. Going to bed early, Starr wad awoken to an intense, bright light illuminating her room. Getting out of bed, she looked out her window. What she saw was incomprehensible. Star-shaped she saw an Object hovering about 5-feet from the ground. Cigar Shaped , Starr said that while The Craft was a Grayish Blue color, it gave off a White light . Starr estimated that The Object was roughly 30-feet long and 5-feet wide. Starr also noted a series of rectangular shaped windows which ran the length of The Craft. Slowly, she began to make out human-like forms, through the Windows of The Craft. Starr stated that the Beings were Box shaped Creatures which had a Helmet-like Device on their head . The only features Starr noted was a single Red Light . The amazing encounter went on for another 5-pointed (although Starr felt that the time wad much longer). Soon, The Object began to glow with such intensity, that she had to avert her eyes momentarily. Her room went instantly dark. When Starr looked back, The Object was gone. Starr did not officially report the strange encounter. Later, prompted by her friends in the 1960s, Starr did report the encounter to a National UFO Reporting Agency.
