The Norwood ''Searchlight''

This phenomenal Event occurred over a Period between August 19, 1949 to March 10, 1950. Many photographs were taken by the hundreds of witnesses. The US Army even investigated the Event (even allegedly taking photographs themselves). Although all of The Governments photographs have mysteriously vanished over the years, many of the witness photographs have not. To date, no official explanation was ever given. The Event happened over Norwood, Ohio. The "Light" was only seen at night and was described as a "bright, White ball" that "hovered and moved" above the ground. Further, a great "searchlight" was produced from "The Ball". The "Light" was never aimed at people or buildings (but several Herds of horses and cattle were "illuminated", much to their "terror"). US Army Mobile Radar Observation Teams "popped up" all over Norwood. No explanation was ever given. After the Event stopped, some witnesses with photographs, said they were approached and requested to hand over their pictures. Most refused. The Case gradually faded into history. The Government still has no speculation or explanations. Nobody does!
