Long seen as a Hoax, The Tale of The ''Metal Man'' of Falkville does deserve mention. It was in the small rural hamlet of Falkville, Alabama in October of 1973. The Local Police Chief received a call from a ''concerned Citizen''. The caller stated that a ''Silvery Disk was seen hovering over Her House'' and that, although scared – The Woman went outside to investigate. The Caller went on to further claim that The Object began to slowly descend into a nearby field. The Police Chief went to the location but found nothing a-miss. As He drove around the vicinity, He saw ''something shiny'' glowing in the distant dirt road ahead of His Cruiser. As The Chief approached, He beheld a strange sight. The Chief saw what appeared to be a ''Humanoid Figure, about 6-feet tall'' standing in the road. The ''Being'' was ''covered in a silvery, almost Mercury-like substance – which glowed''. The ''Being'' seemed just as perplexed as The Police Chief, and the two ''stared at each other for several minutes''. The Chief had a camera on His front sea and – as One would expect – snapped a photograph of The ''Being''. Then suddenly, The ''Entity'' simply ''winked out'' of existence!. The Chief would later not only report His findings to The State, but Nationally (to Newspapers). For a short while, the Unknown Town of Falkville became quite well known. But within a year, most seasoned Investigators cried foul, and said the photograph was nothing more than a 'cheap hoax''. Perhaps it was nothing more than another person ''covered in aluminum foil or whatnot''. Perhaps it is a Hoax, Perhaps NOT.................
