The Meister ''Footprints''

Another hotly debated "Out of Place" Artifact, The Meister Footprints were discovered near The Antelope River - in Delta, Utah. The State is a well known hotbed of hundreds of thousands of fossils (drawing amateur Rock "Hounds" from all over The United States. The "High" Desert was once a dense jungle if various species of Saurian Life, Millions of Millions of years ago. Dr. William J. Meister and his Archaeological Team, were exploring the River bank, when a long piece of Flat Rock Sandstone was found. The first impression was that they had found a fossilized imprint of some kind of Ancient Saurian. Upon closer inspection however, the imprints found were Human. Thinking now they had found proof of Ancient Man, the reluctant was taken back to their Lab for closer inspection. When cleaned, the imprint revealed it's true nature. Not only was it definitely Human, the footprints were "booted". As if that was not curious enough, the prints appeared to have crushed an Ancient Trilobite Organism. The creatures were Pre-Devonian and could not have existed with Man. The rock was dated further at between 300 and 600 Million years old. Taking into account that Man advanced enough to produce such footwear was roughly 2 Million years on Earth, the basic question was, However, did the footprints come to be on top of The Trilobite? Skeptics cite that the fossil was misdated or that the Scientists fused two fossils together to gain notoriety. Perhaps, or maybe it is proof of Man being much older on Earth than we have been previously thought (or taught).
